Where are these products sold?
- Light engineering workshops:
- Waste bins are sold to private waste disposal and recycling companies.
- Agricultural machinery, including firewood splitters, bale feeders, silage spreaders, muck spreaders, post drivers and trailers, have been manufactured predominately for CIE industries.
- Trailers are available to the public and are crafted to meet client requirements.
- Pre-fabricated fence panels are sold to Fence Master.
- Stainless steel fabrications are sold to a number of companies and also used within prisons.

Pre-cast concrete yard:
- Pre-cast panels for structures of residential and commercial buildings are sold to construction companies and property developers.
- Concrete water and septic tanks are sold to a range of clients including the general public.
- Light assembly:
- CIE assemble lighting componentry for the local and export markets.
- Compost bagging:
- Compost is bagged into 10 litre and 20 litre bags on behalf of a compost wholesaler and sold at a range of local garden centres.
Light engineering workshops:
- Light engineering workshops are situated at Christchurch Men’s, Manawatu and Auckland Men’s prisons.
Pre-cast concrete yards:
- Pre-cast concrete yards are located at Wanganui and Auckland Men’s prisons.
Vehicle repair garages:
- Vehicle repair garages are located at Auckland Men’s, Waikeria and Tongariro/Rangipo prisons.
Light assembly:
- The light assembly operation is located at Auckland Men’s Prison.
Compost bagging operation:
- The compost bagging operation is located at Auckland Men’s Prison.
