Congratulations to CIE Catering Manager Marty Rickard for winning the prestigious Pride Award!
Marty Rickard was hugely surprised when he got the letter announcing that he was one of the recipients of the 2008 Chief Executive’s PRIDE Award.
This Award is presented to members of staff who have consistently demonstrated all of the elements of the Department’s values: Professionalism, Responsiveness, Integrity, Diversity and Effectiveness and Efficiency.
“I didn’t even know I was nominated but my boss had put me forward,” says Marty. “And if I am honest it is down to my managers that I can do my job so well. And my staff of course! I am hugely reliant on them and I believe I have got the best people working with me.”
