Thank you to the many people who have contributed their views and thoughts on all aspects of prison volunteering. This input has been invaluable in reviewing the effectiveness of the current volunteer policy.
Proposals for a revised volunteer policy that will support the strategic direction and outcomes of the Department and meet the needs of volunteers and their organisations, are well advanced. These should be published for consultation soon.
