CPPS staff had a great time talking to the public at the 2007 AUT Maori Expo, held in Auckland in August.
The free, biennial event celebrates Maori success in education, entertainment, sports, fashion, the arts and business. A range of staff from Hamilton and Whakatane and the Auckland and Tai Tokerau areas helped out on the day, promoting our services and talking to interested people about job opportunities. With around 50,000 people through its doors, the event was an effective way of showing the presence of CPPS in the Maori community.
Back row, David Sarich (Tai Tokerau), Morgan King (Manurewa), May-Lee Chong, Grace Smit (Manukau), Lawrence Tawera (Wellington). Front row, Richard Kavanagh (Whakatane), Meri Ruwhiu (Waitemata), Te Kauru and Natalia Taurima (Auckland), Edith Tatana, Rawiri Nathan (Manukau).
