None of them won the big lottery draw, but Wednesday June 15 gave staff at the Mangere Service Centre another reason to celebrate.
After 22 years in their old premises, staff were able to move into their new offices on Cannings Crescent, which as well as a new lift, has enough room to cater for everyone.
Service Manager Tony Fink says staff are delighted with the new offices.
"It's removed the need for hot-desking - now everyone has their own desk, telephone and computer, so people can settle in. We've now got probably double the staff numbers here we had 12 months ago, so it's great to be able to fit everyone in."
There are around 35 staff members now working in the new offices, and Tony says there's been plenty of positive feedback.
"The staff are enjoying the warmth and the fact they have their own spaces."
