Introduction

This section covers details of the contents of the reparation report.

Responsibility

A probation officer or other person appointed by the court may be required to prepare a reparation report for the court.

Disclosure

The offender and the victim are each to receive a copy of the reparation report, with the following provisos:

  • the financial statement is for the use of the court, and should not be given to the victim, and
  • the victim should receive a copy of the report before the sentencing date, unless the court orders that the whole or any part of the report should not be disclosed to the victim.
