This part of the manual details the process and procedures for the preparation of reports concerning the release of prisoners from prison on parole.

The process involved in the preparation of such a report commences 8 months prior to an offender’s parole hearing, and involves pre-planning and liaison proportionate to the offender’s assessed level of risk and need.
