This topic outlines the steps to take if an offender does not report within 24 hours of sentencing.
Arrangements must still be made to install electronic monitoring equipment prior to the commencement of the first curfew.
If an offender does not report within 24 hours of sentencing, then attempts must be made to contact the offender.
The following table outlines the steps to take when attempting contact with the offender if they fail to report within 24 hours.

If the offender has not reported within the required timeframe, then the supervising CPPS staff member must attempt to phone the offender.

Prior to the commencement of the first curfew, deliver a letter to the offender advising them that:
The letter must reach the offender's address at least one working day prior to the first curfew period. Hand delivery or urgent courier delivery may be required to achieve this. |
