This topic outlines information about the reminders and escalations sent by the monitoring company in relation to CD EM notification.

CD EM reminders

This is a reminder that an equipment issue on a CD EM notification has not yet been resolved. The monitoring company will continue to send a reminder notification until the equipment issue is resolved.

CD EM escalations

This is an escalation that an equipment issue on a CD EM notification has not been resolved for a longer period of time.

Format

The reminders and escalations will be sent via email to CPPS staff by the monitoring company.

Timeframes

The table below outlines the timeframes for the reminders and escalations sent by the monitoring company.

If the equipment issue is not resolved by/for… then… by…
the next working day a reminder notification is sent 3 to 5pm the next working day.
subsequent working days a further reminder notification is sent 3 to 5pm the next working day.
the following week an escalation is sent 12 noon the following Tuesday.
more than seven days an escalation is sent 12 noon the next Tuesday after the first escalation is sent.

 

Recipients

Reminders are sent to the CPPS staff indicated on the CD1.  The first escalation is sent to the relevant service manager and area manager.  The second escalation is sent to the relevant regional manager and the national manager, electronic monitoring.
