Introduction

This chapter provides information about the processes of having offenders arrested and managing warrants to arrest.

A warrant to arrest an offender can be requested by CPPS when an offender fails to appear in court or a probation officer is unable to serve a summons for a court appearance on an offender.

Once an offender is arrested, they will be held in custody until the first available appearance before a court.
