The following diagram provides an overview of the recall application process.

Offender on indeterminate sentence

The recall application process for offenders subject to indeterminate sentences follows the same basic path as that for offenders subject to determinate sentences.

However, the decision to recall a life parolee is that of the general manager (on delegation from the chief executive) and all cases should be referred to head office for consideration, through the CPPS operations helpdesk.
