The following table describes the process for managing a recall application once:

| 5 | Notifies the originating probation officer and the prison receiving office of the signed warrant and police job number. |

| 6 | Liaises with local police, using the job number, to help facilitate the offender’s arrest. |

| 8 | Arrest the offender |
| Prison Services (PS) staff member | |
| 9 | Notifies the NZPB administrator of the date/time the offender was taken into custody. |
| NZPB Administrator | |
| 10 | Schedules the hearing and faxes a copy of the application and notice to the appropriate receiving officer and probation officer. |
| PS staff member | |
| 11 | As soon as practicable after the offender has been taken into custody, and following the issue of the warrant: serves a copy of the recall application and notice of hearing on the offender faxes or emails confirmation of service to the NZPB administrator. |
