Introduction

This section covers how to use the available sanctions. There are three types of sanctions available to the probation officer.

  • Issue formal warnings (verbal and written).
  • Require the offender to return to, or remain in, an earlier sentence management phase.
  • Withdraw approval for absences (home detention (HD) and parole with residential restrictions (RR)).
