Introduction

This chapter covers guidelines for the community work supervisors in managing the day-to-day activities of a work party.

Constant supervision

It is the responsibility of the community work supervisor to ensure that no offender(s), alone or in pairs or groups, are permitted to be unsupervised at any time during work hours.

The community work supervisor calls the roll and checks off each offender at the following times:

  • the start of the day
  • the end of the day, and
  • random times throughout the day, as considered appropriate.
