Introduction

This topic is about making an application for community work (CW) agency funding.  Eligible agencies must:

  • be approved with CPPS

  • have a current annual review

  • submit a ‘Community Work Agency Funding Application’ form

  • have no outstanding issues that may compromise the integrity of the sentence or the Department.

How and when do agencies apply?

Agencies can apply anytime for funding to their local area manager using the ‘Community Work Agency Funding Application’ form.

An information sheet and application form can be given to the agency during:

  • the approval process
  • a site visit.
What the application contains

Applications from agencies must include the following information:

  • name, address and contact details of the agency
  • names of CW offenders the agency currently supervises
  • type of work undertaken by the offenders
  • tools/equipment/grant that they are applying for
  • how the availability of additional resources could increase their muster capacity.
