If the weather is wet, offenders are still required to report. The work party/agency supervisor will decide with the probation officer/service manager whether:

  • the worksite remains safe, and
  • it is still reasonable to expect offenders to work.

If not, consider alternative indoor work, if available. If no suitable indoor work is available offenders are to be released and credited with one hour for reporting.

Reference: Volume 3a, Part II, Chapter 2, Section 2b. (please refer to the related links section on this page)

If indoor work is available, the offender is required to complete the work as for any normal reporting day.
