Non-association during CW

If an offender is convicted of an offence, the court can make an order for non-association with a specified person or class of person. There may also be non-association orders from other jurisdictions.

If the specified person or persons is/are also serving a sentence of CW at the centre, the probation officer must ensure that the offender is not given the opportunity to associate with them.

This may affect:

  • selection of reporting day, and
  • allocation to work parties and programmes.
