The final steps in the CW sentence completion process are:
Finalisation of the sentence completion report should occur at a date prior to or at the scheduled completion of the offender’s CW hours.
The following table outlines the steps to take to finalise the sentence completion report.

Discuss the sentence completion report with the offender, including whether or not they have been granted remission. Reference: Volume 3a, Part IV, Chapter 6, Consideration for Remission (please refer to the related links section on this page). F or information on the steps to take to advise the offender about remission. If the offender raises any concerns with the content of the report, note these on the report and record in IOMS casenotes. |

Sign the sentence completion report, and obtain the offender’s signature to confirm they have discussed and received a copy of the report. Note: If the offender refuses to sign the report, note this on the report. |

Give the offender a copy of the report. |

Record in IOMS casenotes that the sentence completion report has been signed and finalised. |

Record the time taken for the finalisation of the sentence completion report with the offender against CW hours in IOMS. |
