Psychological Service

The agreement with Psychological Service formalises the working relationship between the Psychological Service and the Community Probation Service. This relationship is based upon the principles of:

• open and honest communication at all levels
• a no surprises approach to relationship management, and
• providing, and being open to, constructive feedback.

Obligations

The agreement outlines respective obligations regarding:

• psychological consultations, involving the assessment and individual/group treatment of offenders subject to Community Based Sentences and Orders
• written reports to the Community Probation Service on the results of the assessments and treatments, and
• training to be provided by the Psychological Service.
