A.15.01 Information to the New Zealand Parole Board (National Procedure)

Procedure Standard

• Information requested pursuant to Section 44 of the Parole Act 2002 is provided to the New Zealand Parole Board upon request.

Procedures

1. The Victims Information Manager requests information from the Manager Sentence Planning when a victim seeks information in accordance with Section 44 of the Parole Act 2002.
2. The Manager Sentence Planning requests the information from the appropriate Sentence Planner / Case Officer.
3. The Sentence Planner / Case Officer completes the Prisoner Information for Victims Form (A.15.01.F1).
4. The form is forwarded to the Manager Sentence Planning.
5. The Manager Sentence Planning quality checks the form and forwards the form to the VNR Coordinator at the prison where the prisoner is located.
6. The Prisoner Information for Victims Form (A.15.01.F1) is completed and emailed to the VNR Coordinator within 2 working days.
