Post operations reporting

  • At the conclusion of operations the Prison Check-Point Supervisor ensures the Prison Check-point Report (B.12.01.F1) is completed. The report includes the number of vehicles and persons searched, unauthorised items located and the number of people warned, excluded and arrested.
  • Any incidents are reported to the Prison Manager and added to the National Check-Point operations database.

Post operations debriefing

The Prison Check-Point supervising officer debriefs all staff. The debrief includes:

  1. A summary of the operation’s events and findings.
  2. Discussion on issues or incidents that may need to be followed up for intelligence gathering purposes.
  3. Staff are actively encouraged to contribute and provide feedback and comment on operational issues, including areas for improvement, training, or safety issues.
