Searching prison vehicles

  1. Any prison vehicle brought into the prison may, while the vehicle is in the prison, be searched by any officer at any time for the purposes of detecting any unauthorised item or any prisoner attempting to escape.
  2. Escorting vehicles are searched:
    1. Immediately before and immediately after each day's travel.
    2. On every occasion at which the prisoner(s) leaves the vehicle.
