A Corpus Receipt
- The "Prison Manager's Receipt for Prisoner/Corpus Receipt" is issued where a "Warrant of Commitment where Default in Payment of Fine SP28" is received.
Requirements
The following action is accurately completed:
- Where the prisoner is already in custody, the words "Warrant of Commitment for" are entered in front of the prisoner's name on the first line.
- Print clearly the name of the constable / bailiff.
- The police staff identification number is included where the delivering agent is a police constable.
- Specify the name of issuing court.
- The number of case is the FCN number located on the top right hand side of the warrant.
- Specify the amount due and the term of imprisonment to be served.
- The receipt is signed and dated by the officer receiving the prisoner.
- The original is handed to the delivering agent and the copy is stapled to the warrant.
