Information released by the New Zealand Police is in accordance with legislative and inter-agency agreed requirements.
Forms
- D.12.03.F1 Police may use their section of form D.12.02.F1 if they have come into contact with an HRX while on conditions of release
- D.12.03.F2 Police may use their section of form D.12.02.F2 if they have come into contact with an HRX on home detention
Procedure
The New Zealand Police will provide CPPS, as detailed in a local agreement, with the following information:
- Details of any contact they have had with an HRX offender while they are subject to conditions of release (this will generally be provided to CPPS on the Police section of D.12.02.F1).
- Details of any contact they have had with an HRX prisoner while they are on home detention (this will generally be provided to CPPS on the Police section of D.12.02.F2).
- The HRX offender’s known criminal associates.
- The HRX offender’s known gang affiliations.
