Requirements
- Any Welfare Fund is managed under the name of the fund through a separate account operated within the Trust Account system.
- Each Welfare Fund has a charter which clearly identifies:
- The title
- The purpose
- How it is funded and how any reimbursements are made
- The treasurer
- Who authorises the fund and the date of establishment
- How and who authorises the expenditure
- Accounting and monitoring practice
- The period of operation
