Prisoners who do not arrive at destination on time are immediately located.

Procedure

This procedure must be activated immediately if the prisoner has not arrived at required destination within 5 mins of scheduled time.
Communication can be by landline or by radio.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Staff at destination

Check list to confirm missing prisoner’s name
Check with accommodation unit to confirm prisoner’s departure from previous location
Initiate incident response if prisoner not located

Accommodation unit staff

Confirm prisoner departure time
Call PCO-CSU to report non-arrival of prisoner at destination after a confirmed departure from originating area or unit
