Code of Conduct
This Code helps to outline what the Department of Corrections, as your employer, expects of you and what you, as an employee, can reasonably expect from the Department.

Compliance and Legislation
The Department of Corrections operates within a strong compliance environment with regulations, contracts and delegations.

CPPS Operations Manual
The Community Probation & Psychological Services (CPPS) is directed and guided by clear, formal and systematic policies known as the CPPS Operations Manual.

Corrections Act 2004
The Corrections Act 2004 has been passed, receiving the Royal Assent on 3rd June. The new Act introduces reforms that reflect modern conditions and approaches to how the Department manages offenders.

National Systems
National Systems define specific services to be delivered within the national corrections system.

Policy and Procedures Manual
Prison operations are directed and guided by clear, formal and systematic policies known as the Policy and Procedures Manual (PPM).

Prisoner Employment Strategy 2006 - 2009
The Department of Corrections provides employment and employment-related training in prisons to increase the chance that prisoners will obtain sustainable post-release employment. This in turn is expected to reduce the likelihood that prisoners will return to prison.

Sentence Management Manual
This manual is designed to be used by the Sentence Planner and the Case Officer who manages a prisoner's Sentence Plan.
