If you're looking to make a positive change, there’s an exciting range of career opportunities available working in new regional corrections facilities.

The Department of Corrections is building two new corrections facilities around New Zealand to accommodate increasing prisoner numbers:

  • Spring Hill Corrections Facility (About 20 minutes drive from Huntly and 30 minutes drive from Manukau City)
  • Otago Region Corrections Facility (near the rural township of Milton, about 40 minutes drive south of Dunedin)

Auckland Region Women's Corrections Facility, located in Manukau, opened in August this year. There are still employment opportunities available at this facility.

We’re looking for a wide range of motivated people with excellent communications skills and the ability to be positive role models to work in these modern, new facilities.

Whether you’re already working for Corrections, or you’re looking for a new career, you can find out more about working in the new facilities here.
