Corrections Inmate Employment (CIE) Instructors train prisoners to improve their work habits, skills and experience within a business-like environment, increasing their chances of getting sustainable employment on release.
CIE Instructors play an active role in helping prisoners to rehabilitate themselves through work. This work, though within a prison, resembles as closely as possible similar work in the market place.
The key accountabilities/responsibilities for a CIE Instructor are:
