Administration of Community Sentences and Orders Bill 2011
The Administration of Community Sentences and Orders Bill 2011 contains nearly 50 legislative amendments to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Corrections system.
The Bill amends the Bail Act 2000, the Parole Act 2002 and the Sentencing Act 2002. It contains policy changes and minor technical amendments to primary legislation. The provisions in the Bill were to have been part of the Corrections Administration (Effectiveness and Efficiency) Bill, which has now been split into two Bills: the Corrections Amendment Bill and the present Bill.
