Output: Policy Advice and Development Services

The Department provides advice and develops policies that contribute to service delivery, including policies that improve outcomes for Maori and Pacific peoples, and the development of effective criminal justice sector legislation. Services also include the development of standards, the analysis of trends in the offender population, and the evaluation of the impact of programmes to reduce re-offending.
